Acne Vitamin Supplements or Diet Therapy - For years, scientists, doctors, biologists, dermatologists, and registered dietitians and examined all the various causes of acne.
Since most of the world population suffer from acne at some point in their lives, it is not surprising that attempts to find out, how it was created there. While there are few definitive answers if acne hormonally induced (yes), and what can be done to prevent it (prescription drugs, certain herbal remedies, etc) are, there are still many unknown factors that cause acne.
But of all the many questions that science is yet to find answers acne is the most controversial whether diet has an effect on acne.
Historically, the diet are thought to be associated with acne. Doctors and housewives alike believed that a high-fat diet as cause oily skin, and this in turn would lead to breakouts.
But as time passed, he found science is not a direct link between a diet high in lipids (fat), and acne. Since acne is caused by a bacterial growth in sebum trapped in clogged pores caused, there is no such thing as? The oil secretion strange. Thus, at least for the past 15 years, Western medicine has claimed there is no link between diet and acne.
However, a study conducted in 1997, which led to the name? The diet causes acne provoked again? Argument, and this time with a little more heat.
This study, conducted by Dr. Lit Hung Leung, states that acne outbreaks because the body can not create enough of Coenzyme A is to break down fatty acids to create sebum. The reason is, Coenzyme A is most probably the only enzyme required in the body. This coenzyme-A is what synthesizes sex hormones, and what breaks down fatty acids.
The only part of Coenzyme-A that the body can not produce itself is vitamin B5. So if there is a shortage of B5, there is a shortage of Coenzyme-A. And if there is a lack of coenzyme A, the body uses to synthesize hormones, fatty acids, do not break.
So you can see where this is going? More fatty acids and sebum production, more acne.
Now the interesting thing is that Dr. Lit Hung Leung proving this statement is 100. The group took 10 grams or more per day of pantothenic acid (B5), and used a B5 topical cream of 20%. After 2-3 sebum production is reduced, and many people with acne noticed a reduction. For those who are more extreme acne, a higher dose of B5 was used (approximately 15-20 grams per day), and the treatment was prolonged to see an effect, sometimes up to 6 months.
So, to prove in court is not final, if B5 avoid or reduce acne, it may be worth considering, especially for those who want natural remedies or herbal acne and do not want to use chemicals like benzoyl peroxide, or prescription acne treatments.
As with any medical treatment, it is best to consult a doctor before attempting to query a B5 regimine.
